Fontaines D.C. are an Irish alternative rock group whose music directly addresses Irish pride, immense support for the liberation of Palestine, and intense lyricism. My goal was to create icons encapsulating these three cornerstones of their music in a way that utilized the acronym of their band: “FDC.” I added elements such as a clover trail, olive branch, microphone, guitar neck, a dove, and flags as symbols for irish pride, advocation through music, and Palestinian freedom.
