The aim of the poster is to educate individuals about the threats of AI data centers on the American freshwater and energy sources. Working together with the Stop Data Centers Now! Campaign, I created a graphic in Photoshop of an old monitor displaying a water drop in the middle to depict AI’s need for water cooling processes in their data centers to function correctly. On the top there is a headline and sub-headline that draws the viewer in, in the middle there are statistics about AI water use, and on the bottom there is a paragraph with a call to action going more in depth on how AI is threatening our water and energy systems.
